Understanding How Self Leveling Caulk Works

The right self-leveling caulk will dry quickly if the weather is between 50- and 70-degrees Fahrenheit. It can skin over in just five minutes and become waterproof in just a few hours. Most self-leveling caulk will be about 80% cured after 48 hours but may take up to 30 days to become 100% cured.

How it Works

Self-leveling caulk fills in the horizontal joint and spreads out after application. It will flatten inside the joint and provide a better seal, while also keeping other things out of the space between the concrete. Often, it's used to seal gaps, cracks, and joints in your concrete slab.
