Portland Cement Products

Portland Cement

Portland cement is the backbone of strong concrete and mortar, the standard binder that contractors and masons rely on for footings, slabs, block, and precast. We stock a steady supply for Long Island and New York City jobs, and we help crews size the order so there are no delays. Whether you are pouring a garage slab, setting CMU, or doing site work, our team can match the right cement to your mix design. We carry top brands, we keep it dry and ready, and we can stage pallets so you get in and out fast.

Types Of Portland Cement We Carry

  • Cement Type I, the go to for general concrete work, slabs, sidewalks, and footings.

  • Cement Type S, used in masonry applications, stronger bond for load bearing walls and higher durability mortar.

  • Mortar Mixes, preblended options for laying brick, block, and stone, consistent results with fewer steps on site.

If you are unsure which bag to grab, tell us what you are building and your cure timeline. We help our customers pick the right material every day.

Brand Options

W.R. Meadows, trusted on pro jobs for performance and compatibility with admixtures and curing compounds. Their materials play nice across the system, from waterproofing to curing.

Sika, broad lineup that integrates with their admixtures, bonding agents, and repair products. Many crews like the reliability and technical data support that comes with Sika.

We stock both, so you can keep a single spec family across the project.

Where Portland Cement Gets Used

Contractors use Portland cement for cast in place concrete, footings, slabs on grade, piers, and patching. Masons use it for block walls, brickwork, and stone veneer scratch and brown coats. On residential jobs, you will see it in patios, steps, and driveways. On commercial sites, it anchors curbs, ramps, and walkways. Real tip, measure your water, do not eyeball it. Too much water weakens the mix and leads to surface dusting. Another field tip, order a little extra for waste and test cylinders, five to ten percent cushion saves return trips.

Pickup And Delivery Across Long Island And NYC

Pick up Portland cement at our Brentwood yard or East Setauket yard, and ask about availability at Riverhead if that is closer to your site. We can load you fast, forklifts on hand, pallets staged so your crew spends more time building and less time waiting. We deliver across Long Island and New York City, from Nassau to the East End and all five boroughs. Tell us where you want the pallets, curbside or driveway, and we will plan the drop so it does not block site access. Pro tip, keep bags off the ground and covered, moisture ruins cement, so store on a pallet with plastic sheeting over the top.
